I need the art for a physics game where the player interacts with different shapes.

Each shape must be a monster/creature with a few slightly different facial expressions: happy, sad, nervous and cheering.
The creatures must have the EXACT format of the shape. Here are some placeholders for the shapes that will be used in the game (still have 1 to be made):

The full art list is:
-8 different shapes/creatures.
-In-game background.
-Out-game background.
-Buttons and user interface items.
-Game Logo.
-Tile of a rock and a lava-rock.
-Some small stuff that I might have forgotten to put in this list.

The game theme will be something like "monsters inside a volcano".

The shapes/creatures MUST be vector images.

I am willing to give the artist the proper in-game credits.

Please provide some sample of how you are thinking of doing this.

... the creatures are shape-like and there is no animation at all.

LoL, i just read that... there's no instruction about no animation at all at the top page, hahaha...

if you want to, i can easily discard the simple blinking animation ... but my suggestion is to use it, since it adds 'life' to the whole monster thing... imagine (randomly) blinking blocks in the game screen.. : D

Kosmo, 500$ for a project this small is just insane. There is a few art work to be done, the creatures are shape-like and there is no animation at all.

I liked your examples, but it must be side viewed, like Rosedragon's samples. And each creature must be a different shape.
